Eric, this is such a cute picture. What a curious little tyke.

I took a picture of a raccoon today, but it's not a wonderful close-up like this one. (I forgot to bring my telephoto lens on my walk.)
I'll be posting mine in the next couple of days.

Eric Carr: Actually, this little fellow is one of four babies that were born in an old hollow tree in the woods, about ten feet from my front lawn.
I own 14 acres and have a driveway that is very long and we live in the middle of the land.
We love it here, nature surrounds us.

Awww what a cute thing to see and what a great picture. We have no racoons in our area..not enough trees I think? Nice capture!

Second time I've looked at this one today. I love this one, Eric. The some muted and some sharp leaves are great. I saw Kay's also. Neat that there are two little racoons on the same day.
